I like having different headphones for different activities, and I was glad when Jabra sent me their Sport Pace wireless earbuds to check out.  I am the first to admit that I'm not a HUGE workout enthusiast, but I do have a stationary bike on my back patio that I visit a few times a week, and one of my biggest issues is getting bored and struggling though a session because I do not have much of a sound system out side, and having music playing on my phone while on speaker just does not cut it.

I pulled everything out of the box and took a closer look at the earbuds.  The volume controls and power switch looked simple to use, and a quick look through the instruction book had me familiar with the sports button function that works with the Jabra Sport Life App.  The set is also compatible with several other popular fitness apps.

I hooked up the Jabra Sport Pace and set it aside to charge.  While the earbuds are charging there is a little light that is red, and when it is fully charged it turns green.  I was easily able to pair the Jabra sport pace to my iPhone and was prompted to download the Jabra Sport Life App.  I liked that the app will play music from my music list, and talks to me during my workouts letting me know that I am half way done, and gives me an option to pause if something comes up that I need to take care of.

The earbuds have a snug fit and the flexible over the ear design keeps them securely in place.  I wear glasses and had to do a little bit of adjusting so both the earbuds and my glasses were comfortable to have on at the same time.  It was not really uncomfortable, but I did feel both while I was working out.  The sound quality is excellent and I think have a great bass sound to them.  My stationary bike is purely wind resistant and pretty noisy, and while I could still hear my bike, I was able to focus in on my music and before I knew it my timed session was over.

The cord is designed to be worn around the back of the neck, but I personally found that to be irritating and preferred to have it looped under my chin.  The cord is short enough that I did not snag it on anything, and it did not get in my way or distract me while doing my workout.  The one thing I was not able to test out was the microphone quality for calls.  To be honest, I have very few phone calls every thanks to texting, and I would not want to be huffing and puffing while talking to someone during a workout.
