For a while now Sunday morning is pancake morning.  I'm not sure how it happened, but for a several years now someone (other than hubby) makes pancakes for the family.  We try and mix it up once in a while and this time around I looked at the counter and saw some pancakes.  I figured why not add a mashed banana to the batter?

With rave reviews from hubby and my daughter this is going to be come a regular in the house. Silly easy and added so much flavor. I even used less syrup on my pancakes because the bananas added so much sweetness to the batter.

Ingredients:
Favorite pancake batter/mix for 9-12 pancakes
1-2 bananas (1 for batter, 1 for slicing)
Butter or oil to grease pan

Directions:
Mash one banana in a small bowl with a fork.  In seperate larger bowl whip up a batch of your favorite pancake batter for 9-12 pancakes.  Add mashed banana to the batter and mix in.  Cook pancakes as you normaly would over med heat, flipping pancake once the bubbles pop, but to not fill in.  Add some slices on top of pancakes and drizzle with a little syrup and serve.
