When summer rolls around it is always nice to have an ice cold drink that does not water down.  Blender lemonade is a quick and easy way to make some ice cold lemonade that does not get watered down as the ice melts.  I have been playing around with different ways of making this, and my family's personal preference is to peel the lemons.  It goes not have as tangy of an aftertaste with the peel off as it does with the peel on.  Each batch tastes just a bit different depending on how sweet the lemons are, but give this a try when you are looking for a sweet and cool summer drink.

2 lemons
1/2 cup sugar
3 cup water
1-2 cup ice

Wash lemons and remove peel (skip peeling if you like the tangy taste of lemon zest).  Cut lemon into wedges and remove visible seeds.  It is not necessary to remove any of the seeds, I just remove the ones I can easily see.  Add all ingredients to blender and blend away.  My blender has a smoothie setting that lasts 45 seconds and I end up with a frothy ice cold sweet lemonade with 1 cup ice, and more of a lemonade slush with 2 cups ice.
