I am never going back to standing by the stove forever and dodging grease splatters to cook bacon for breakfast.  Oven baked bacon with my broiler pan is the way to go.  The bacon comes out in nice straight strips, is super crunchy, and the amount of grease I grained from the broiler pan base was way more that I have ever drained from my frying pan.  Be sure to use a semi thick bacon for this.  I have tried this before with a super thin bacon and ended up scraping bacon paper off my broiling pan.  It goes not have to be super thick, but just make sure it is not transparent when you pull a strip from the pack.

Place oven rack one slot lower than center and pre-heat oven to 350.  Place bacon strips on top of broiler pan set, close, but not touching.  I did not pre-grease the top, I figured the grease from the bacon would prevent any sticking.  Cook for 20-30 minutes until bacon is golden brown.  I started checking mine at 20 minutes, then every three minutes after.  Cooking times will vary due to thickness of bacon.  Place cooked strips on paper towel to remove the last little bit of excess grease and enjoy.
