I am pretty sure my daughter never thought I was cool enough to get a chance to review some Zelda stuff in exchange for my honest review.  Needless to say I jumped at the chance to check out a hand tuned Ocirana of Time.

I'll admit that I am not as big of a Zelda fan as my daughter is, I pretty much topped out with the release of the first game way back when, but my daughter has taken up the torch and run with it.  She loves all things Zelda, and I knew she would love to add the Ocarina of Time to her collection.

The ceramic flute is well made, and there are no rough edges around the holes or the mouth piece.  The included satin cord is great for wearing the Ocarina of Time around the neck, so there is no fear of dropping it while playing.  The Triforce band is not just a sticker slapped on after the fact, but seems to be glazed on with the blue paint.

You can see my daughters reaction with the unboxing video below.  She had no idea what was in the box, and the smile on her face just cracks me up.

There is a digital instruction book that is sent after the product is shipped out, so be sure to keep an eye on your e-mail for it.  My daughter is a bit more of a visual learner, so she has been watching videos to learn how to play the Ocarina of Time.  She's been pretty bashful about playing in front of anyone, but once in a while I can here her playing when she thinks I'm not paying much attention.
