Sherbert (orange kitty) and Haggis (grey Kitty) recently received a Natural Feathers cat toy from Petoyo for free in exchange for their review.
Needless to say, when you get a fuzz wad photo bomb while trying to take a picture of the product, some thing good must be happening. The surprise was that it was Sherbert that got all nosey as he is an incredibly lazy cat that just hates to move any more that to his food dish.
Both Haggis and Sherbert love this toy. It has a little bell on it that makes a catchy sound, but it is not overly annoying. I love that the feathers are attached by an elastic cord. It gives some extra tug and play fun when the cats have the feathers firmly in their mouths or paws. We did lose part of one smaller feather within a few minutes of opening and playing with the cat toy. Haggis excels at chewing through string, ribbon, and apparently small feathers. The larger feathers have been incredibly sturdy, and I even saw some teeth marks along the stem, and they are still going strong.
I think the most suprising thing about this cat toy, is listening to my daughters fight over who gets to play with the toy, I mean play with the cats. I'm not sure who is having more fun, the girls or the cats. Haggis is a pretty old cat at 14 and has a bit of a gimp, but he looks, plays, and acts like a kitten when he stalks and plays with this feather toy. Sherbert is a lazy beast at 20 lbs, but even he likes to play and chase this feather toy around, so it has been a great way to get him some exercise. I can not express enough how difficult it is to find a toy that engages Sherbert, and this one gets him moving.
