Breaking out with the Wii board.  Not that I've have much of a winter here in central California, but the drought and freakishly warm days have started the spring bloom already, and my allergies are off the hook, so looking around the house for ways to exercise indoors so I'm not going back and forth between sneezing and wheezing.

The Ugly

Old habits die hard.  I caught myself just sort of munching through the day and completely forgot to log my food with MyFitnessPal as I ate.  By the time I sat down at the end of the day and logged everything, I was shocked at how much I ate!  Sadly, I did this twice this last week

The Bad

I don't wear my Up by Jawbone in the shower, and after one insomnia filled night, I did not even remember to put it back on to track my steps for the day.  I did not even have the brain power to pretend to guess how many steps I took that day, but overall, I know it was not a lot.

The Good

I managed to get a couple days of actual exercise in this week.  I walked 1.5 miles on Monday while my older daughter jogged, and hubby and my younger daughter did some metal detecting in the park.

I broke out with my Wii board and the Wii Fit.  I did the Island Run with my older daughter.  It was pretty funny that we were both jogging around inside the house, but it made the 9 minutes that it took to compete the activity seem to fly by.  After the Island Run I set the Wii up for 30 minutes of step exercising.  Somewhere along the way I got the bright idea to find my 2 lb weights to go along with my exercise.  I figured that even if I did not move my arm the whole time, the added weight would help with my exercise.  10 minutes later I had managed 3,000 steps and I had jello arms from lifting as I was stepping.

Goals for Week 8

I want to do 30 minute step exercises three times this next week.  I could really feel it that last 10 minutes when I did it earlier this week.

End Result for Week

Up 1.6 lbs.  I think I need to step up my movement during the week.  My goal should help with that.  As irritating as the gain is in the last two weeks.  I am not going to give up.

Total Weight Lost

8.2 lbs.
