I love bean sprouts, but somehow I never get around to buying them in the store. I had a very large bag drop into my lap one day, and just went WHOO HOO! One of the quickest and easiest ways to cook up bean sprouts a quick saute. The bean sprouts keep their crunch and taste fantastic.
Fresh Bean Sprouts, washed and drained
Heat a large sauce pan to medium high. Add a splash of cooking oil, and roughly 1 tsp garlic. Cook garlic until for 1-2 minutes and add bean sprouts. Stir occasionally until all sprout stalks are no longer bright white. Season with salt and serve.
