1 pound of ground beef
1/2 chopped onion
54oz. of tomato juice
16oz. of wide egg noodles
8oz. sharp cheddar block cheese
1 Tsp. of garlic powder
On medium heat cook ground beef and chopped onion in a 3-5 quart pot, until meat is brown and drain. Return meat and onions to pot and pour in tomato juice, and bring to a boil at high heat. Once juice is at a boil add in egg noodles and garlic powder and mix well. Reduce heat to medium and cover with lid. Stirring about every 4-5 minutes so the noodles don't stick to bottom of pan, for 20 minutes. When your juice is just about gone and noodles are done, remove from heat. Take your block cheese and cut 4 long strips and shred the rest. Stir in the shredded cheese and top with the 4 strips. Cover with lid and let sit for about 5 minutes before you serve, to allow top cheese to melt. Your done and supper or lunch is ready to be served.
* I have used shredded cheese instead of the block cheese 1 8oz. bag and used single slice cheese to top it.
* You can also switch out the tomato juice for spicy v8 juice for a added zing.
