Shiloh was given a review opportunity from one again. This time around he received Merrick Kitchen Bites Turducken Grain-Free Biscuits Dog Treats.  Shiloh seemed interested even before I cracked open the bag.  I flipped it over and checked out this ingredient list: Deboned Turkey, Sweet Potatoes, Potatoes, Peas, Organic Cane Molasses, Chicken Fat, Carrots, Duck, Chicken, Apples, Flaxseed, Gelatin, Mixed Tocopherols (a preservative), Rosemary, Sage, Thyme.  This reminds of a lot of a holiday feast complete with all the trimmings!

I had to laugh as the treats have the vague shape of a bird.  Not quite a turkey, duck, or chicken, yet somehow it kinda looks like all of them.  It's a hard biscuit that is big enough that Shiloh has to bite a few times before eating.  I took a sniff of them, and they did not have an overpowering scent to them.  Hubby through they smelled pretty good, and Shiloh drools when he gets a whiff of them.

These treats have been a great way to keep Shiloh entertained for a little bit during the day.  We have been hiding two or three treats in different areas in the yard for him to sniff out and enjoy a random surprise during the day.  We have to get sneakier where we hide the treats.  He has already figured out that hubby likes to hide treats all the way down in the toes of his chew shoes, and is always shaking them out first to see if a treat comes out before looking in other areas.
