I was going on a quick trip to see some extended family, and decided to bring my Crashlings made by Wicked Cool Toys, along for my cousins to play with.  I received a Crashlings 10-pack in exchange for my honest review.  I was not to sure what to make of of the toy, but my cousins seemed excited to break into it.  We all snuck outside while my mom, aunt, and grandma were busy cooking dinner.

Crashlings are little collectible figures with a rubber popping meteor that can go as high as five feet in the air, and hard plastic meteors that come apart, and can hold a Crashling inside. There are over 150 figures collect and five categories to collect from.

Monsters (what I received)
Underwater
Insects
Dinosaurs
Aliens

The Crashlings 10-pack includes 10 Crashlings figures, (5 are hidden so it's a surprise when you open the meteors), 4 meteors, 1 popper and 1 mega popper.  Someone (it may have been me) had the bright idea to put a Crashling inside the mega popper and let it fly.  It was actually pretty fun dodging the little figure as it flew off into random directions, then my cousins would scramble to be the first one to find where it landed.  It was a good thing we were outside, my grandma would have yelled at us for making so much noise inside the house.

If you are not sure what to do or how to play with the Crashlings, there is a helpful little flyer inside with some game suggestions, along with a chart of Crashlings available to collect.

Meteors Stack ~ Stack three meteors on top of each other without them falling over.
I have a pretty steady hand and gave this a try.  Apparently my hand was not steady enough, because I could not get a second meteor to stay stacked for more than a few seconds.

Space Jump ~ Highest popped meteor wins.
We sort of played this as we has two different sized poppers to play with.

Meteor Catch ~ Pop the rubber meteor into the air and catch it in a cup.
This one was pretty fun and fairly simple for all of us to do.  One of us would set the meteor to pop while another would catch it in a cup.

Tic-Tac Crash ~ Use meteor halves to play tic-tac-toe
We actually did not play this, my cousins were more interested in Crash and Smash Bowling.

Crash and Smash Bowling ~  Set up Crashlings in a triangle pattern and roll a meteor into them.
This we had some fun with.  We were trying different way of rolling, flicking and shoving the ball across the table to slam into the Crashlings.  House Rules, we gave an extra point if the meteor fell apart in the crash.

Along with the Crashlings 10-Pack that I received there is The Catapult City, and Meteor Missile Ship.   Each play pack has Crashlings that are exclusive to that set and Crashlings are available for purchase at Toys "R" Us and Amazon.com.  Single packs and four packs are available as well.
