Frozen Peanut Butter Pie with Dark Chocolate Dreams from Peanut Butter & Co

I was given the opportunity to try and review for my honest opinion products from the Peanut Butter & Co.
I jumped on this chance as I love peanut butter and chocolate. Upon arrival I excitedly opened up my box to see a container of Peanut Butter & Co Mighty Maple peanut butter and Dark Chocolate Dreams spread. I immediately opened them up to get a taste of each. The peanut butter was a awesome mix of peanut butter and a hint of maple syrup, while the dark chocolate is just to die for. Dark chocolate with peanut butter, it was heaven all within it's self. They both are easily spreadable and are great alone, on bread or thrown in with a recipe. Made with all natural ingredients they are healthier than most other name brands on the market. Best part they are made with USA grown peanuts.



My first thought on what to make was a peanut butter pie, something cold on these hot spring days because let's face it anything to cool you down and not heat up the kitchen on hot days is a must. When I went to make the pie I realized that I was out of pie crusts and anything to make it, we are in the middle of moving so the cabinets are bare to say the less. So I thought mini cupcakes but no liners. On a whim I decided to take the dark chocolate spread and use that as the pie crust. Here's how I made this quick and very simple but delicious pie. It took a matter of minutes to prepare this pie and the results were great from our testers.


Ingredients:

1/2 cup Peanut Butter & Co Dark Chocolate Dreams
8 oz. container of cool whip
chocolate syrup

In a pie pan, spread your chocolate evenly to cover bottom and sides. Place in freezer to set, mine took about 10 minutes. In a bowl, mix cool whip and peanut butter thoroughly. Pour and evenly spread pie filling into pan, drizzle with chocolate. Place in freezer and let it set up. Serve when ready to eat.
