I have a few jars of all natural peanut butter tucked up in the cupboards.  Since hubby is not too keen on it, it's become baking peanut butter.  Given how much everyone in the house likes chocolate and peanut butter, Chocolate Chip Peanut Butter Cookies had to happen.

1 stick (1/2 cup) butter, room temperature
1/2 cup chunky peanut butter
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/4 cup flour
2 tablespoon cocoa powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 375.  In large bowl mix butter, peanut butter, sugar and brown sugar until creamy.  Add egg, extract and cocoa and mix until fluffy.  In separate bowl combine remaining dry ingredients together and mix.  Slowly add dry ingredients to butter until well combined.  Lastly add chocolate chips.  Drop rounded teaspoons of cookie dough onto a lightly greased baking sheet or parchment paper lined cookie sheet and bake 10-13 minutes.
