Green Challenge Recipe 10 of 10 ~ Sautee Chinese Broccoli

I love Chinese broccoli.  My mom introduced me to it a little while ago, and now she brings me a couple bunches every month from the local farmers market.  I have always cooked Chinese broccoli whole, little flowers and all!


Ingredients:
1 Bunch of Chinese broccoli
1 clove garlic minced
3 drops liquid smoke
splash of soy sauce
cooking oil to coat bottom of pan








Directions:
Cut off about 1 inch of Chinese broccoli stem.  Rinse well and shake dry.  Heat up cooking oil in frying pan and add garlic and let cook for a moment.  Add Chinese broccoli, soy sauce and liquid smoke.  Stir frequently, broccoli leaves will wilt and the stems do not take long to cook.  Stems will be soft, but still crisp. Serve with white rice and favorite meat.
