Recently I was given the opportunity to try a product called Skillet Bacon Jam.
Let me just say...I love my bacon.

What is Skillet Bacon Jam?
Niman ranch bacon and render it down along with onions, balsamic and other spices . It cooks for several hours until it is a perfect blend of smoky, tangy, savory and slightly sweet….basically spreadable bacony goodness!  USDA approved.

I opened up my jar and it had a hickory, apple wood, bacon aroma to it.  Three of my favorite food scents all rolled into one.

I received enough to rub down 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts and threw it into the oven.  In no time I had the smell of bacon wafting around my house.  The chicken turned out great!  It was tangy without being spicy (I'm a spice wimp, mild salsa kills me), not too sweet and the bacon flavor complimented the chicken perfectly.

Their website has a bunch of neat recipes and additional product information.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
